On Sunday around 12:15 p.m., troopers said they responded to an airplane crash near Adrian Lane. Officials said a single-engine plane attempting to land at Lake Norman Airport, struck several trees and crashed into an abandoned house site.
Man dies after plane crashes in Iredell County
Randy Mysliviec, of Mooresville, was piloting the plane at the time of the crash. He was transported to a hospital in Mooresville, where he later died.
