In the early morning hours of Saturday, a fire engine's strategic positioning prevented potential tragedy on U.S. 287 near downtown Fort Worth when a truck crashed into the parked emergency vehicle. Fort Worth Fire Department Engines 5 and 14 had responded around 3:30 a.m.
