A Mulberry man died Thursday afternoon after a semi-truck crashed into his car, according to deputies. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said at about 4:10 p.m., a Freightliner was carrying a 53-foot trailer south on SR-37 when it nearly struck a pickup truck that was stopped to make a left turn into Bay Port Valve and Fitting.
