Police: Savannah man in critical condition after lawnmower rear-ended by truck late at night

Police say a Savannah man is in critical condition after the lawnmower he was driving down the street was rear-ended by a truck late Tuesday night. Christopher James Martin, 21, was ejected from the lawnmower after the 10 p.m. collision on Norwood Avenue near Fox Chase Road in Sandfly, said Julian Miller, Savannah-Chatham police spokesman. He was taken to Memorial University Medical Center.
