One dead following motorcycle crash

The crash happened Sunday afternoon at Jackson Highway and County Road 350 North. Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Deputies say they found a motorcycle and the driver lying near the intersection. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Motorcyclist dies on Jackson Highway after crash near Montmorenci

Deputies were called to the scene about 3:05 p.m. Sunday and found the motorcyclist — a man whom Tippecanoe County Coroner Carrie Costello said is believed to be in his late 20s — lying in a wooded area west of the intersection, according to the sheriff's office. The man was dead when deputies arrived on scene.

Draper, 29, of Fowler, was found about 3:05 p.m. Sunday near the intersection, and sheriff's deputies indicated that it appeared Draper failed to make a right-handed curve in the road.
