Nickie Thomas, 26, killed and Kenyada Hornes, 36, and Shalisa Porter, 26, injured in single-vehicle rollover car crash on US-31 in Holland Township, Michigan

Kenyada Hornes, 36, of Benton Harbor was traveling southbound on US-31 Sunday morning, when her vehicle exited the roadway and traveled into the median before rolling. Hornes and the back-seat passenger 26-year-old Nickie Thomas, also of Benton Harbor, were both ejected from the vehicle. Thomas was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Hornes was taken to Holland Hospital with critical injuries. Another passenger, 26-year-old Shalisa Porter, of Benton Harbor, was transported to Holland Hospital with serious injuries.
