Fifty-eight-year-old Demonia Sanders was reportedly crossing the street mid-block near 65th Avenue and Bethany Home Road around 9:30 p.m. Erick Vazquez-Barragan, 34, was driving eastbound when he struck Sanders, causing her to suffer life-threatening injuries.
