Pedestrian killed on Colonial Drive near Avalon Park, officials say

A man was killed after he was apparently struck by a vehicle on Saturday night on Colonial Drive and Avalon Park Boulevard, according to officials. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. Orange County Fire Rescue received a call about a man down a little after 9 p.m. 

Pedestrian killed by car on Colonial Drive, officials say

A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a car on Colonial Drive, Orange County Fire Rescue officials said. Saturday in the eastbound lanes of Colonial Drive and North Avalon Park Boulevard. All lanes of eastbound Colonial Drive were blocked at North Avalon Park Boulevard. The pedestrian died after being taken to a hospital, officials said. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
