Shortly before 6:00pm, 14-year-old Pierce Resler was walking with three other people on State Road 13 when he for some reason stepped into the roadway, and into the path of a vehicle driven by Zachary Moran, 19.

Glenn Foy, an antique plane enthusiast, was found dead in the wreckage of his YAK-52 10 days after he went missing. Foy did not return from a flight in the aircraft that left on April 3. The plane was nearly buried on impact.

Police tried to stop a Chevy Tahoe in Boone County when the suspect took off at high speed. Officers pursued the vehicle across the Marion County line until the Tahoe crashed into two other vehicles at 34th Street and Georgetown Road.

A mother and her child were in injured in an early morning crash. The child, was under 10 years old, was taken to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health.

According to James Harter, 64, who was driving the school bus, some students were acting up so he turned around to check on them and rear-ended a slowing police car. Only the dective in the car and one 14-year-old student were injured in the crash.
At about 8:45am, a the driver of a Jaguar containing five people was traveling southbound on U.S. 31 when they lost control and veered across the median into the northbound lanes.
