Man killed in Rowan County tractor accident identified

Kentucky State Police say 47-year-old Lonnie Curtis Davis, of Morehead, was operating a farm tractor on Bullfork Road, when the tractor flipped and pinned him underneath.

A man killed in a farming accident in Rowan County Friday afternoon has been identified.

Kentucky State Police say 47-year-old Lonnie Curtis Davis, of Morehead, was operating a farm tractor on Bullfork Road, when the tractor flipped and pinned him underneath.

Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.

Davis' uncle told WKYT that Davis was using the tractor to pull out tree tops for firewood at the time of the accident.
