Police have arrested a Dorchester man in a hit-and-run bicycle collision that killed an 8-year-old girl and injured another child Saturday evening in Mattapan at about 11 p.m. on West Selden Street. The 12-year-old boy was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver ran from the site on foot after the crash. Check back for more information as it becomes available.
