According to Harris County sheriff's investigators, Duffy was heading west on East Wallisville Road about 8:35 a.m. Sunday when he crossed over he center line, swerved into the south roadside ditch and crashed into the culvert.

School officials said high school senior Dennis Duffy was killed in a car crash Sunday. Students gathered at the high school’s chapel for a private prayer service to remember Duffy and cope with this tragic accident.
“He was a great guy, very influential. I considered him to be one of my best friends and a brother,” said one student.
Investigators have yet to say how the accident unfolded. School administrators say they plan to have counselors on hand Monday to help console students.
No other information regarding the accident has been released.
