Virginia State Police have released the names of three people involved in a fatal car crash in Wytheville, Virginia over the weekend.
3 killed in weekend I-77 crash in Virginia
Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller said a northbound FJ Cruiser driven by 45-year-old Anthony J. Asbury of Wytheville crossed the median and struck a southbound Chevrolet Camaro.
PT Cruiser driver Anthony J. Asbury, 45, of Wytheville, Va., and Camaro driver Shan B. Martens, 28, of Bassett, Va, as well as her daughter, Bria S. Hensley, 9 months, were killed in a fatal crash in Wythe County. The PT Cruiser was heading north on I-77 when it crossed the median and collided with a southbound Chevrolet Camaro. A Toyota Camry traveling south on I-77 then hit the Camaro. Asbury was taken to a hospital where he died. Martens and Hensley in the Camaro were also declared deceased. The occupants of the Camry, 66-year-old Peter InterDonato and 61-year-old Beverly InterDonato of Ripley, W.Va., suffered serious injuries.
